She began her fitness career as a Ballerina and Modern Dancer since the age of 3 years old. She studied Dance and Ballet for 15 years. By highschool, was involved on the JV Cheer Team and then moved on to the Varsity Dance Team performing at all various types of venues. During this time she was introduced to Yoga and loved it!! She began self studying Yoga through many articles, books, and various Yoga teachers she has met through the years. When the studying became serious, she began studying at Bikram Yoga College in Costa Mesa, CA and Yoga Works in Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. For the past 10 years, Yoga has become a lifestyle; a way to keep healthy, strong and be stress free. She began teaching a few years ago to friends at various Orange County Studios, Gyms, at home and at the beach. And since then, has developed a passion for teaching.
She has always had a natural passion for fitness and teaching others, so it is only natural to go from teaching Yoga to also teaching kickboxing. After taking Power Boxing, Power Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes at The Boxing Club, she has fallen in love with her new fitness level, strength, endruance and technique from these classes. After running a few full marathons and half marathons in the last few years, she realized that these fitness classes substituted my old running training schedule and actually has made me stronger and faster when she does run.
Her passion has always been about health, fitness and teaching these ideals to others, so she feels blessed to be able to do this now at The Boxing Club. She is currently working on obtaining her certifications for Yoga, Pilates, Aerobics, Personal Training and Sports Nutrition and looks forward to a long continuing career in my passion for Yoga, health and fitness
