Eddie
~EDDIE ROA~ Eddie was born in Calexico, California, a small town across the border of Mexico. At the age of 20 years old, Eddie moved to San Jose, California where he began training under Kru Rey Garcia, the 2001 ‘IKF’ Heavyweight State Champion and Two-Time National ‘Chi Sau’ Champion. Eddies Muay Thai style is straight from Thailand as he trained with many Thai Champions at the world renowned “Fairtex” gym in San Francisco, and the Fairtex Muay Thai camp in Bangplee, Bangkok, and Fairtex Muay Thai camp in Pattaya, Thailand. His Pro debut took place in Pattaya, Thailand by a win with a first round knockdown. Eddie has fought at the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas, Bangkok, and Pattaya, Thailand. Featured in two Thai documentaries based on foreign fighters in Thailand, and also on the Official Guide to Muay Thai (book) with pics. of him and the Grand Master Apidej. Eddie follows the words from Fairtex, “TO FIGHT LIKE A THAI YOU MUST TRAIN LIKE A THAI, AND ALWAYS BE INSPIRED.”
