Greg
Greg McIntyre was born and raised in San Diego Ca. Growing up in a scrappy neighborhood, he had to learn to defend himself at an early age. While in the 8th grade he found and fell in love with the art of wrestling. Greg excelled in wrestling winning the league championship as well as becoming the CIF champion in his weight division. Greg was also a state qualifier under Coach Pete Grisafi. In 1998, while seeking to enhance his fighting style, Greg met legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Fabio Santos (7th degree black belt under Rickson Gracie). Greg had found the perfect compliment to his wrestling foundation and quickly learned the deadly art of submissions. Greg knows what it is like to battle against adversity. He nearly lost his life to an intestinal disease and was sidelined for two years. Many people told him that he would never fight again, but he battled the odds and fought back into fighting shape! Greg proved his dominance on the Jiu-Jitsu tournament circuit winning many titles as well as becoming the Kage Kombat champion in 1999. Greg is currently a Brown belt in BJJ under ADCC absolute World Champion and UFC middleweight contender Dean “the Boogeyman” Lister. Greg is also training Muay Thai under World Champion Melchor Menor and Boxing with Gustavo Pugliese. In 2006 Greg was recognized as one of the top grapplers in his weight division as he was selected to compete in the ADCC North American Trials.
