Joao JOHNNY Faria
Joao JOHNNY Faria was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1981. He started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1992 with Marcelo Beiring( blackbelt under Rickson Gracie). After Marcelo passed away and some time away from the mat, Johnny then resumed his training under Flavio Beiring (one of few Coral belts) and Jorge " Macacao" Patino. Johnny moved to San diego ini 2001 and trained with Carlao Valente and then recieved his blackbelt in 2001. He has trained with many top competitors such as Terere, Telles, and Andre Galvao. Johnny has been teaching Jiu Jitsu for over 7 years.
