~MICHAEL OLIVARES~ Michael began boxing in 5th grade. As the youngest of 11 children, he knows all about the art of defending himself. Throughout his high school years, Michael boxed at the Amateur level in between participating in football, baseball and wrestling. At the beginning of 2003 he became an instructor at the Encinitas Boxing Club. It was there that he realized his strength and passion as a boxing instructor/trainer and wanted to make this a part of his life. Michael is a Nebraska native who has lived in the San Diego area for 8 years and has received his B.A. in Communications from Cal State San Marcos in 2003. By day, Michael is a professional recruiter in the staffing industry. Michael’s words of wisdom are straight from Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher: “DISCIPLINE IS DOING WHAT YOU REALLY DON’T WANT TO DO SO YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO. GOT THAT?”
