Hatha Yoga is a 3000+ year old system of self health care which utilizes physical postures various breathing exercises, and deep relaxation. Yoga helps develop harmony of the mind, body and spirit. Vinyasa (flow) Hatha Yoga is a flowing series of choreographed postures (asanas) in which each movement is synchronized with breath (pranayama). Vinyasa gives you a full body arerobic workout which builds strength, balance, flexibility, stamina and endurance while detoxifying and de-stressing the mind and body Rani’s grounding in form and philosophy comes from her deeply rooted Brahman royalty Hindu upbringing. Since her youth she was taught Hatha Yoga from her aunties and studied Hindu rituals with her grandparents. A student of yoga for years, and a certified Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga instructor for over 12 years. Rani primarily studying Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Vinyasa Yoga extensively. She continues to apprentice and assist Kent Bond in addition to continuing her studies of Hatha Yoga philosophy with Ganga White and Tracy Rich of White Lotus Foundation( who in essence are her adopted parents). Not to mention that she has both basic and advanced teacher certification. Always yearning for more about Yoga and its philosophies, she has also studied with Shiva Rea, Barron Bautista, Sharon Gannon, David Life, Anna Forrest, Tim Miller. Rani is known for her open-hearted, enthusiastic teaching style and for creating class environments that foster personal transformation and remembrance of our innate beauty. Her eclectic, intuitive style is committed to creating a safe place to launch one’s personal discoveries inspiring students to find their own distinctive voice as they deepen their practice. My name is Rani Sheronika Rabang. I am South Asian from Fiji Islands and was primarily raised in the Hindu culture, exposed daily to the very traditions that have build the foundation of what I love to teach today. I have been doing yoga just about my whole life, literally since I came out of the womb. During High School I studied Kaja Kembo with Greg Liguria of Crazy Dragons in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have always had an love affair with Martial Arts and started studying American Kick Boxing that led to Ju-Jitsu. During all this time continuously doing Yoga and practicing my Hindu religion. My first yoga class that I officially instructed was at my Ju-Jitsu studio, in 1995. Since then I’v instructed at various places from corporate ,studios and retreats. Along with continuing my education and getting certified in Pilates reformers and, my certification in Naud- Bo -Ruan.
