About The Boxing Club








The Boxing Club (TBC) was established in 1999 with a belief that in a safe environment fight arts can be an effective and fun platform for overall fitness and health. With that in mind, TBC brought together the best fight and fitness instructors in the industry – from Boxing to Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, MMA, High Intensity Interval Training-based fitness and Pilates to create a unique and exhilarating fitness program based on fight arts.

Our tiered instructional program is tailored to every age and fitness level – from a 6-year old child to an aspiring pro fighter. Our “Power” fitness classes, which are based on the basics of boxing and kickboxing, will help you uncover your own body’s power– all while helping you burn up to a thousand calories an hour.

Those who want to learn technique or challenge themselves further can join our Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and Boxing programs, run by current and former professional fighters and world class coaches.

Balancing out our combat classes are our Pilates, Burn, and Yoga programs – giving you some time off from punching and kicking while helping you stay in top shape.

At TBC, we believe that our clients should never just be faces in crowded classes. Our commitment to our clients is reflected in everything we do - from keeping class sizes comfortable for personal attention to learning more about our clients to help them achieve their goals faster and more effectively.

In 2014, The Boxing Club underwent a change of ownership. The owner/management team created a dynamic welcoming atmosphere, renovated the facility, optimized the fitness programs and brought customer service into focus.

The Boxing Club is a high intensity workout facility that will keep you motivated & shedding weight, all while providing a stress-relieving outlet. A mash up of short circuit, full body workouts & fighting techniques makes this gym a unique addition to La Jolla. Our staff knows everyone on a first name basis, and make an effort to help improve your physical form as well as overall health. Our gym is filled with professional trainers that will push all members to their peak physical limits while also educating them on proper techniques to maximize workouts and prevent injuries. Classes are continuously redesigned to add variety to your workout and keep your body and mind consistently stimulated.

Unlike other gyms, The Boxing Club specializes in one-on-one training, with some of the most experienced coaches in California. Members receive quick results & constant positive reinforcement. The main focus of our club is about the journey of achieving healthy life changes for everyone.

TBC offers the perfect platform for a morning wakeup call or a stress-relieving end of day workout. Within an hour, members are able to burn up to 1000 calories, and receive a challenging and fun experience.
