24 Hours in San Diego

Stay Classy, San Diego!

San Diego is one of the U.S.’s gems –– with 70 miles of coastline, more beaches than you could imagine, and 72 degree weather pretty much year-round. SD is a city with its own type of laid-back and all sorts of treasures. It’s difficult to cram all of San Diego into 24 hours, but you sure can make a hell of a good 24 hours by visiting.

Picture this. Start your Saturday off with brunch in Carlsbad at Campfire. Campfire’s vibe is gathering together around the fire to share good food with friends and family. Campfire has been shaking up the North County food scene with its fun menu and camping-inspired touches for decor. After brunch, it’s time to explore with a view. Head a little bit south and find some parking along the coast to begin a light “hike” at Torrey Pines State Reserve. TP is a San Diego classic, with breathtaking views of the water, city, La Jolla Cove in the distance and SD magic. This hike isn’t anything crazy, but the sights you will take in are. Just as you thought things couldn’t get any better, Viewpoint Brewery will give you the perfect opportunity to experience some of San Diego’s best in one. San Diego is known for its beer-scene and Viewpoint Brewery doesn’t disappoint. Viewpoint Brewery has a dreamy location right on the banks of San Dieguito Lagoon with plenty of little touches for the perfect Insta post (we got your back).

It wouldn’t be a trip to San Diego without visiting the seals at La Jolla Cove. They might not smell the best, but they are certainly the cutest. Once you find yourself done naming all the seals, start heading towards Downtown. But first, make a stop at Liberty Public Station in Point Loma. Once a naval training center, this 2019 food hall is jam-packed with sweets, savory deliciousness, and more – think food truck meets brick and mortar. Once you find yourself done mousing around Liberty Station, check-in at the Pendry Hotel in Downtown San Diego. The Pendry is located at the epicenter of the historical Gaslamp District and just a few blocks away from Petco Park. The timeless classic feel with all the luxury vibes makes the Pendry a standout. In its tastefully modern state, the Pendry has ultra-yummy restaurants, stellar pool lounge, and fun nightlife. You can have an epic night out after checking in without having to leave the hotel! Get cleaned up, head to Lionfish for dinner and then downstairs to Oxford Social Club for an unmatched night in San Diego.

Before heading out on Sunday morning, make sure to stop by for brunch Rustic Root. Pro tip: Order the elaborate champagne tray and lemon meringue french toast. You won’t regret it.
