Meet Our New Trainers

At the Boxing Club, we constantly strive to bring you the very best coaches and instructors, and people we believe to be at the forefront of their fields to help you reach your goals.  You may have seen some new faces around the gym over the last few months, and we want to take a minute to officially introduce you to them. Make sure you say hello next time you see them around!

Andy Arnold – Burn Classes and Personal Training

Andy’s dream has always been to spread inspiration to others. Her move to San Diego three years ago truly sparked her passion for staying fit and living a healthy lifestyle. This health journey opened up a new world for her. It started simple; she documented her journey on social media to connect with a wider audience with similar aspirations. This naturally progressed to creating a blog, Fit Andy. This platform allowed Andy to express her passion, knowledge, and inspiration to others through fitness and nutrition. The ultimate goal of the Fit Andy blog has been to help others understand the value of taking care of their bodies.

The impact she has had on others has fueled her desire to go back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Dietitian. She is currently a Lifestyle Educator at Kaiser Permanente where she meets with patients to establish a plan to help achieve their weight loss goals. Andy believes that she is meant to help others by giving them the knowledge, tools, and encouragement they need to live fitter and happier lives. Come try one of her Burn classes on Tuesdays and Thursday at 5:15pm!

Raul Reyes – Kickboxing, Boxing, and Kid’s Classes

Raul Cropped

Raul brings over 10 years of experience in coaching boxing, kickboxing, and kids classes to The Boxing Club. He is a USA certified boxing coach and has shared the ring with world class fighters, master trainers, and mixed martial arts experts. Raul specializes in footwork, defense and striking techniques for stand up fighting, as well as strength training, conditioning, and weight loss. With a meticulous and innovative approach, he helps men and women of all different skill levels accomplish their fitness and training goals.

One thing that really sets Raul apart is his unwavering dedication to the community. He has played a major role in bringing positive reinforcement to countless underprivileged and at-risk youths.  He has lent his services at group homes, recreation centers, and after school programs. We feel this makes him the perfect coach for our kid’s classes. Combined with his years of skill, he will help develop your children’s athletic abilities, and  show them how to build a healthy, fun relationship with fitness. Try out his Kickboxing classes on Monday or Friday at 6am, Boxing on Friday at 9am, or Kid’s Boxing & Kickboxing on Friday at 4pm.

Lindsey – Yoga Classes and Private Sessions

Lindsey tried yoga throughout her life, but it was not until after college when she found herself sitting in an office for 8 hours a day that she knew that it would play a much bigger role in her life. She became a certified yoga teacher under San Diego Spirit Yoga Studios in 2015. Her passion is to share the exhilaration, energy, and inner peace that can be found in breath awareness and intentional movement.

Lindsey’s classes are uplifting, joyful and fun. She teaches a powerful, challenging, and accessible vinyasa flow with an emphasis on breath, alignment, and feeling. Students in her class feel empowered and connected to themselves in a whole new way. She creates a welcoming and supportive space for students to learn, and have fun breaking down barriers on and off the mat. If you are interested in exploring the endless possibilities of the mind and body, this is the place to do it! Lindsey teaches yoga every Saturday at 8am at TBC!

We are thrilled to have all of these new trainers on the team, and we hope you all take advantage of their wide array of skills, and come try something challenging and fun.
