Putting Health First: Tips for Staying Healthy!

In lieu of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and our dedication to staying strong, we wanted to share some tips to help keep your health game up. 

 

If you are feeling under the weather, stay home! It’s okay to take a rest day (anyone say, Netflix?).

 

Drink lots of water and stay hydrated - it’s essential for keeping that immune system on point. 

 

Use your own gear and always sanitize - this way you’ll know where your equipment has been. Use an antibacterial wipe or spray after each use to keep those germs out. 

 

Take showers and wear shoes - Use our beautiful showers to wash off after class and wear shoes in wet areas. 

 

Wipe down your machines - Wipe down your cardio or weight machine before AND after use to keep yourself extra protected/be courteous to the rest of the TBC fam.

 

Limit Exposure -Wash your hands frequently with soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid contact with those who are sick and stay home if you have been exposed. Keep your immunity up by making sure to get enough sleep. 

 

Stay Active - Moving your body and getting your sweat on helps keep your immune system strong by lowering stress levels, preventing bacterial growth, clearing your lungs/airways, and helping your white blood cells fight off disease. Keep it up!
